Employee Ownership Association: Edward Cullinan Architects are members of the EOA, the business association for companies who are substantially or wholly owned by the people who work for them.

CABE: The Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment. Robin Nicholson, a long standing Director of Edward Cullinan Architects, is currently joint Deputy Chair.

The Royal Academy: Edward Cullinan is a Royal Academician and is currently a Council member.

TRADA: The Timber Research and Development Association is an organisation encouraging the use of timber in the construction industry. ECA is a member.

The Construction Industry Council: The CIC represents the industry's professional bodies, research organisations and specialist trade associations.

North Staffordshire Urban Vision: UVNS is an architecture and urban design centre working to promote high quality architecture in the North Staffordshire area. Ted Cullinan is Chair of the Design Review Panel.

Koestler Trust: The UK's best know prison arts charity who support creative arts throughout Britain's prisons. Ted Cullinan is a member of the Trustees Committee.

Architecture Education Network: The AEN intends to encourage, enable and facilitate the teaching of the subject of architecture and the built environment as part of the national curriculum and out-of-school activities.

Royal West of England Academy: The RWA is one of only five Royal Academies of Art in the UK. Ted Cullinan is an Academician.
BREEAM: Edward Cullinan Architects are registered assessors for the Code for Sustainable Homes and EcoHomes.

The Edge: After 10 years of debates, the Edge has established itself as a leading Edge group of architects, engineers and friends who aim to affect Government Policy and inform its sponsoring institutions - CIBSE, ICE, RICS, RIBA and the Carbon Trust. Practice Director, Robin Nicholson, is coordinator of the organisation.

The Design Quality Indicator: The DQI is a tool to establish the values and aspirations of a building with the central aim of raising the quality and value of buildings. Edward Cullinan Architects is one of the founding trailblazer practices. Practice Director, Robin Nicholson, was involved in the DETR/DTI funded research project with a Sussex policy Research Unit team led by David Gann, and has since become a DQI trainer.

Low Carbon Buildings Directory: An online education tool designed to build a new alliance of professional organisations, academics and practioners who are willing to share knowledge and experience relating to the design and operational performance of low carbon buildings. Practice Director, Robin Nicholson in his role as Chair of the DCSF Zero Carbon Schools Task Force, presents on the future work ahead.

The All Parliamentary Climate Change Group: Its members now include over 180 MPs, along with 200 businesses, academic institutions, and NGOs from all major sectors. Edward Cullinan Architects is a group member.

Good Homes Alliance: The GHA is a group of housing developers, building professionals and other industry supporters whose aim is to close the gap between aspiration and reality by showing how to build and monitor good homes which are sustainable in the broadest sense. ECA has been a member since 2007.

Mayor of London's Green Procurement Code: The Mayor of London's Green Procurement Code is a free support service for London based organisations committed to reducing their environmental impact through responsible purchasing. ECA is a signatory.

London Remade: A not for profit business working in partnership to develop and improve waste management, recycling and green procurement in London.

Islington Climate Change Partnership: A Partnership that consists of over 100 Islington organisations from all sectors who have pledged to reduce their carbon dioxide emissions by 15% by 2010. Edward Cullinan Architects signed up to the Partnership in 2009.

The Carbon Trust: Advice and solutions to reduce business carbon emissions. Contains practical advice on how to reduce carbon footprints.

CO2 Balance: Carbon off-setting company who provide useful tools to calculate CO2 emissions for public transport journeys by train and plane.

Lovely as a Tree: The website that tells you everything your need to know to be a more environmentally aware graphic designer.

Greenpeace - What are we waiting for?: A short film to find out how we can combat climate change and ensure energy security, without nuclear power.

ACTIVITIES:

Crisis at Christmas: Crisis opens centres from 23 - 30 December every year to offer homeless and vulnerably-housed people companionship at a time of year which can be partcularly lonely for those without a home or family. Members from Edward Cullinan Architects have developed and co-ordinated centres in North London since 2005.

Red Bull Flug Tag: In the 2nd Red Bull Flug Tag event in London the 'Cullinan Bird' flew a record-breaking 40m over the Serpentine in Hyde Park in June 2008.
