Brendan Sexton
BscArch (Hons), BArch (Hons)

Brendan joined Edward Cullinan Architects in 2010 after completing his Bachelor of Architecture at University College Dublin. His thesis project dealt with the sustainable expansion and evolution of Irish villages. It proposed an alternative to the urban sprawl which typified Ireland during the Celtic Tiger era. Brendan spent one year of his Part 2 programme at Kungliga Tekniska högskolan in Stockholm, here he developed an interest in parametric design and the optimisation of materials.

Before joining ECA, Brendan worked for O'Mahony Pike Architects in Cork, working on a number of mixed-use developments and one-off homes in the south of Ireland. Most recently he has been with BVN Architecture in Brisbane working on the redevelopment of the Gallipoli Barracks for the Australian Armed Forces.

Brendan is currently working on a proposal for the International Institute of Products and Service Innovation (IIPSI) at the University of Warwick.
