Cherry studied as an undergraduate at The University of Cambridge and has recently graduated with Distinction from her masters at the University of Bath.

Her final year thesis paper, a study of primitive place-making strategies, was awarded the RIBA Wessex region Dissertation Prize and was nominated for the RIBA President's Medals Dissertation prize.

Before joining ECA in January 2008 she has worked for small practices in London and Cambridge including Sarah Wigglesworth Architects, gaining experience in sustainable residential and school design. Cherry is part of the project teams for Baldwin Terrace and The Purcell School of Music.
