Eleanor completed her masters at Edinburgh College of Art in 2004. Her study focused on the role of temporary structures and the re-use of everyday objects and materials, for which she received a distinction. In 2008 she became a fully qualified architect.

Prior to becoming a member ECA, Eleanor worked for several practices in Dublin and London on a range of domestic, residential and mixed-use projects

Eleanor joined the practice in 2005 and has worked on three of the residential buildings as part of the Bristol Harbourside masterplan, a new university campus competition and a special needs primary school on the outskirts of Bradford.

Before going on sabbatical in May 2009 to travel across Asia, Eleanor was part of our schools team working on the remodelling of Forest Gate Community School, which is part of the London Borough of Newham's Building Schools for the Future programme.
