Emily Henningsen
BA (Hons), DipArch, Architect

Emily graduated from Sheffield University with a commendation in 2002, joined ECA in 2003 and later qualified as an architect in 2005.

Emily was the job runner for the first residential building, '360deg', to be built in the Bristol Harbourside Masterplan and she also worked on the affordable housing block, Building 3b.

She was involved on the Barge Arm mixed-use scheme at Gloucester Docks and the Sandwell College New Campus project. She has also worked on the Fitzwilliam College Library, the Clink Street mixed use development and was the Project Architect for the St John's College School re-modelling project in Cambridge.

Emily is currently working on Brampton Manor School for Newham BSF, which is a phased construction, currently on site. Before starting maternity leave in February 2010, Emily was Project Architect for the new Gatehouse Building at Torriano Junior School in Camden.

Emily has been able to continue her interests in prefabrication by leading our Modern Methods of Construction Team and is also member of our Schools Team and our Management Team.
