Emma graduated in 2003 from the Mackintosh school of Architecture in Glasgow.
Throughout her studies she has been greatly influenced by the unique and innovative style of Japanese contemporary architecture, which led to her spending five months living and working in Tokyo for Edward Suzuki Architects.
She joined the practice in March 2005 and has since been working on a variety of projects from the mixed-use Stonebridge Hillside Hub development, to a visitor centre in Edinburgh Botanic Gardens.
