Lorna studied History of Art at the University of East Anglia, followed by an MA in Gallery Studies at the University of Essex.
She worked at the National Gallery in London as a PA in the Building Department for 7 years. She then went on to work for the London office of Lord Cultural Resources, an international museum consultancy.
Following the birth of her two children, Lorna decided to take a career break. During this period she lived in California for four years and had a wonderful time exploring the American West . While in the States she undertook voluntary work as a tour guide at the Gamble House, a 1908 Arts and Crafts timber built residence designed by the Greene brothers and a thing of great beauty.
Lorna joined ECA in October 2006 as a part-time Project Secretary.
