Lucy graduated from the School of Architecture at Newcastle University in 2004. She combined her architectural studies with specialist modules in landscape architecture. Her thesis project utilised environmental psychology to promote mental wellbeing.
After graduating, Lucy spent a year in Malaysia working for Ken Yeang, where she developed her enthusiasm for ecological design. She has also worked for practices in Clerkenwell and Twickenham, on residential projects and a community centre.
Lucy joined the office in June 2006. She worked on the new International Digital Laboratory at Warwick University and was project architect for the recently completed new Library and IT Centre at Fitzwilliam College in Cambridge. Lucy is currently part of the project team working on a sub-zero acetate and nitrate film store for the British Film Institute and project architect for a new Maggies Centre in Newcastle.
