Monika moved to the UK shortly after graduating in Literature from the Pedagogical University of Krakow, Poland. Although she also holds a degree level teaching qualification, she decided not to pursue a career in education and settled into the architectural sector in early 2008.
Monika came to Edward Cullinan Architects from another London-based architectural practice and took over the role of the Office Manager and PA to Ted Cullinan. She now also manages Robin Nicholson's diary and acts as the first point of contact in his absence.
Together with other members of the Welfare Team, Monika takes care of recruitment and employees' well-being. She has overall responsibility for Health and Safety arrangements, is actively involved in the Premises Team and, as the Office Environmental Manager, monitors our Carbon Footprint and ensures that ISO 14001 requirements are met.
Outside of ECA, Monika continues to co-manage a private photographic studio, where she is taking care of the financial and PR sides of the business.
