Tom studied at Newcastle University and the University of East London where he gained the Jack Petchey Award for Outstanding Achievement by founding the University's Watersports Club. He joined Edward Cullinan Architects in 2010 after working for Unit One Architects, where he gained experience in education, housing and sustainable construction techniques.
Tom is a licensed BREEAM Code for Sustainable Homes Assessor and was Sustainability Consultant for Levitt Bernstein Architects on several housing schemes. He also designed a housing scheme within a conservation area in Clapham to Code level 5 standard. After graduating from his first degree, Tom worked as an assistant project manager on the renovation of the Cotton House Hotel in Mustique. After a year working in Antigua for a local Architect, Tom sailed back home across the Atlantic and has since skippered boats at several industry regattas.
Tom is currently working on a sustainable masterplan for the expansion of Shahat in Libya.
