PROJECT: Bristol Harbourside

LOCATION: Canon's Marsh, Bristol

DATE: 2000 - Present

Nearly six hundred dwellings are incorporated into this redevelopment comprising both affordable housing units and those for sale on the open market.

The forms of the residential buildings are used to define the strong framework of public open space that characterises the scheme. The buildings rise up in a series of inhabited terraces to the heart of the scheme, where the eight storey split rotunda building: '360deg', acts as a focus to the new city quarter. Prominent sites have ground floor restaurants, helping animate the public realm.

360deg, The Crescent and Building 3b containing affordable housing are now complete.
