Designed for Crest Nicholson, the project replaces the derelict 1960s 'Billybanks' housing estate to create a new and distinct residential quarter in Penarth, in response to the site's special topography, working with the established urban grain, contours and astonishing views over Cardiff Bay, and integrating into a strong landscape structure. Consultation with the local community contributed to the design development, particularly at the interface with existing streets.
Our masterplan integrates a wide range of house types and apartment buildings in a street-based layout, creating a great choice of accommodation. 20% of the dwellings are Affordable Housing. The first phase is now under construction.
