PROJECT: Pittville Campus Phases 1 & 2

LOCATION: Cheltenham & Gloucester College of Further Education

As part of the consolidation of the College, we prepared a masterplan to develop the Art College campus with new student rooms, central students services and a Media Studies building.

Phase 1 accommodated the photographic, video and graphics departments, with a central glazed courtyard for flexible use and individual studio spaces. Phase 2 provided 253 student rooms arranged as flats with standard layouts, and a main dining room above a Student Union bar.

Together these buildings define the edge of the campus and those student rooms facing east and the dining hall have spectacular views towards Cleeve Hill.
